ZTE Potentially Prepping New 5-inch Handset for Spirit

ZTE has decided to step out of the shadows from white label products to take on the global market with their new handset, unofficially known as “Quantum.” This handset is rumored to be their new flagship phone, running Android Jelly Bean on a Snapdragon S4 processor.

Hardware-wise, the phone fulfills expectations with its 5-inch 720p display, 1 GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, as well as being able to support 4G/LTE due to the SoC choice.

While carrier branding is nowhere to be seen, an anonymous tip to Android Police says this phone is exclusively for Spirit, backed up by the Spirit logo in the notification pane. While the Chinese OEM has neither confirmed nor denied it, this could potentially be very good news for Spirit and its consumer base.

5" screen with only 720p and 1GB of ram... it better be appropriately priced or it'll flop hard

Call me when companies put physical buttons back on phones (not even asking for QWERTY)... answer call, end call, take picture... or something.
