Nexus 5 Will Arrive at T-Mobile November 14

Google's Nexus 5 launched just last week, but it's already pretty hard to get. This is because right now, you can only get it via Google's own Google Play Store. However, it looks like the newest Nexus smartphone might be a little easier to come by later this month.

Engadget reports that the Nexus 5 is headed for T-Mobile USA next week, on November 14. Unfortunately, it's not all good news. For one thing, T-Mobile will only be selling the 16 GB model, so if you had dreams of owning the 32 GB model, you'll have to give those up. For another, the carrier is charging something of a premium on the device. Engadget writes that the phone is available through T-Mobile for $42 up front and $17 per month over 24 months. All told, that's $450 compared to the $350 Google is charging.

The Nexus 5 is an LG made phone, and Google says it's the slimmest, fastest Nexus phone yet. It packs a 4.95-inch 1920x1080p full HD display (though Google is calling this a 5-inch phone), a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz,  2 GB of RAM, up to 32 GB of storage, an 8-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (there's also a 1.3-megapixel camera up front for video calling), support for 4G/LTE, dual band WiFi, wireless charging, and a 2300 mAh battery.

I just broke my S3 yesterday and would consider buying a Nexus 5 if it only worked on Verizon's CDMA network

Or can pick them up at the play store for $349 for the 16GB and $399 for the 32GB. Currently on back order but the phones are unlocked and there is no upgrade fee.

the attractive thing about t-mobile's plan is that you pay for the phone over 2 years, since there are many people out there who don't have the money saved up to just drop that kind of dough. And even getting it through Google Play, after tax and their ridiculously expensive shipping it comes out to be ~$390 for the 16gb if you live in NYC so that premium doesn't sound that bad over the long term.

You are also charged taxes on the phone with the T-Mobile installment plan...
In addition to the down payment, you will also see a charge for sales tax on the full price of the device.

    Shipping is what? $10?

Charging $10-20 for an item that doesn't weigh much is a rip off especially an item that costs more than $100. It should be free shipping.
