NZXT Creates New Cloud-Based Hardware Monitoring Utility

NZXT has built something with a rather different building block as compared to what it normally would do. In the past, most of the things that NZXT has built have been made with materials such as metal or plastic. However, this one is made of something that hands cannot touch: code.

Yes, the folks over at NZXT have written a program – CAM. CAM is a piece of hardware monitoring software designed and built to make monitoring a lot simpler and elegant as compared to past solutions.

The monitoring software will bring all your crucial vitals to you in an easy to interpret interface. Not only does it tell you what's going on; it'll also give you notifications of overheating, RAM being filled to the brim, and more. It can also remind you every set period of time (default 3 months) to clean your PC, which can be useful.

"CAM is more than just a monitoring tool. Think of it as a companion that will help you manage, maintain and optimize your PC with ease." – NZXT

Most interesting though, is that you can sign into a CAM account and synchronize the data with a cloud account. In June, apps will be available for both Android and iOS, which will allow you to monitor your system from a distance and receive notifications, which can be useful for those of us with home servers that are unattended for extended periods of time while they do their work.

The program is available for download completely free off the NZXT website, and as mentioned, the iOS and Android apps will be available sometime next month.
