Sharkoon Releases REX Enclosure for Water Cooling

Sharkoon has announced a new case, the REX Water Cooling Edition. This case, as its name indicates, is optimized for water cooling.

The case is capable of housing up to Micro-ATX motherboards as well as CPU coolers that measure 165 mm tall (assuming you'll use one), as well as two graphics cards up to 400 mm long, topped off with three 3.5"/2.5" drives and two optical drives.

Cooling can be accomplished with two 240 mm radiators, and there is room for as many as five 120 mm fans, one of which can be swapped for a 140 mm fan and two that are included in a standard kit.

Front I/O connectivity is handled by four USB 2.0 ports as well as HD audio jacks, while the top of the case features an additional pair of USB 3.0 ports.

The case is set to retail for €54.90, and it should be arriving at shops any moment now.

Its just seems like a really watered down version of a Fractal Arc Midi R2, cept that the midi supports 480 rads up top and front(i believe it can do 360 sacrificing 5.25 bay). the market for this case is odd though.

So it is an uglier, larger version of Corsair's 350D that is not capable of mounting 280mm radiators?
Well, at least it is a little less expensive if you do not mind that styling...

3 x HDDs and 2 x optical drives, well even if I stick 3.5 to 5.25 adapters on that's only 5 x HDDs - I have 6 x HDDs and an optical drive. My Moses-old Aerocool Baydream can allow 12 x HDDs so I see no reason to buy this

Sharkoon has been making cases for some time now, mostly the lower end but reviews of them are really scarce, sure that doesn't bode well but I'd love to see some reviews of their cases.
