Dual DDR For Pentium 4: Intel E7205 Chipset Put To The Test

Tyan Tiger I7500 S2722

Unlike the other three test candidates, the Tiger i7500 S2722 is based on the E75 00-chipset. The latter supports Intel Xeon processors. The S2722 is laid out as a simple server board for dual-processor operation. This is why it is not surprising that only the onboard graphics with the Rage XL chip by ATi is used. Because of the application philosophy and limitations of the E7500 chipset, the AGP slot is missing. Tyan only allows one PCI slot and two PCI64 slots for server-relevant controller cards. Two interfaces are available for IDE devices.

Just the essentials: PS/ 2 mouse, keyboard, 2x USB 2.0, serial and VGA. Still, two network connections are available.
