NVIDIA, ATi Bring Five OpenGL Workstation Graphics for PCI Express to Market
Price Comparison And Evaluation
This time we wanted to look more closely into the price/performance ratio. For that reason we normalized all the graphics-sensitive benchmark results in this comparative test at the highest value in each case (100%) and derived the arithmetic mean from them. This gives the normalized mean of all the graphics results and shows the relative performance rating of all the cards. Note: these details relate solely to THG benchmarks.
You will find the recommended retail prices of the cards listed below. We have not yet been able to discover the actual street prices as all three cards are brand new, but they should be below the recommended prices by the usual discount percentages.
The price/performance ratio can now be calculated from these figures.
