3dMark 2006 shows a colossal increase in scoring due to the over clock, however none of the game benchmarks we looked at demonstrated such a dramatic increase. 3dmark is a good general guideline, but this situation shows why actual game benchmarks will always be superior to a synthetic game benchmark.
