USB 2.0 Sound: Creative Labs Audigy 2 NX
Inputs And Outputs
Input-wise, the Audigy 2 NX is a classic because it offers a line and microphone input. The only difference from a basic sound card is that the mike entry has a hardware setting, using a potentiometer. This is a useful feature because it ensures that the card will adapt well to whatever microphone is used with it.
In digital mode, there is a S/PDIF optical input, but there's no coaxial cable. On the other hand, both connectors can be found in the output. That's perfectly acceptable for a card of this type.
