The Future Of PCs

PCs today need more than just technical perks to gain market success. Appearance, ergonomic features and service are becoming ever more important in overcoming continued buyer reticence. Discount shop offers that bait dealmongers with half-truths and jargon will surely continue to sell well. But in three years, who will still want a mousy gray PC box with a whining ventilation system under the desk? Farsighted market observers have known this for longer than anyone else. In the long run, the classic virtues of quality workmanship, user-friendliness and longevity win out. And the bulk of the all-around PCs from discounters are far from that.
