Leadtek Launches the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB Hurricane II OC

By - Source: TechPowerUp | B 9 comments

The Hurricane II OC graphics card features a modest increase to the reference GTX 650 Ti Boost’s core clock and Leadtek’s distinctive dual-fan cooling system.

The Leadtek GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2 GB Hurricane II OC features an increased core clock rate of 1059 MHz that is further increased to 1124 MHz when boosted, 2 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6 GHz, and as the name suggests, includes the company’s distinctive Hurricane II cooling system.

This system consists of a copper heat sink, four 6 mm copper heat pipes and two 74 mm cooling fans that are advertised as offering 7 percent better cooling performance than the reference card when under load.

The Leadtek GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2 GB Hurricane II OC is currently on sale for 23,980¥ (approximately $245).

Only $40 more than some of the cheaper GTX 660's. What a deal.

What a distinctive cooler, it's really unique compared to all the other dual fan coolers with heatsinks and heat pipes.

So what your saying is that the 660Ti PE/OC card I brought for $279 with $20 MIR that has a core clock of 1019 Mhz and a boost clock of 1097 Mhz with 2GB GDDR5 6008Mhz memory is slower than this 650Ti Boost that cost less?
Ill believe it when I see it!

Hell no, a GTX660 (not Ti) is way faster than a GTX650 Ti Boost.
