- WD Caviar SE 320GB...

While the WD4000KS is still available to buyers, it's no longer fast enough to make a place for itself in this comparison test. The WD3200JD is the top Western Digital model in this test; we'll cover the WD4000 in some future review at THG.
With 65 MB/s and about 13 ms access time, this current generation Caviar drive holds a good spot in the middle of the pack. At a cost of $145-150, its price is also pretty attractive.
