PowerColor Launches the Radeon HD 7790 OC V2

PowerColor's Radeon HD 7790 OC V2 is the company's third iteration of AMD's mainstream graphics. It features a reference PCB design and a factory overclocked core clock of 1,030 MHz. This places it between the HD 7790's reference clock of 1,000 MHz and the 1,075 MHz clock sported by PowerColor's HD 7790 TurboDuo version.

The card's cooling system uses a compact aluminum fin stack design that includes a single 8 mm copper heat pipe and 70 mm cooling fan.

Although PowerColor has yet to provide any details on pricing or availability, we expect it to be priced  competitively with other similarly overclocked versions of the HD 7790.

How many versions of the same card do these manufacturers need? You can tell the postponement of the next generation of cards is hurting the manufacturers as they seem to be trying anything to make their cards different from the competition.

The 7790 was the greatest idea ever until the 650 TI Boost, I bet AMD won't stop until they regain there lead in that division. Don't you just love competition?
