Prolimatech Spinning Up Ultra Sleek Vortex 12 Fans
Prolimatech has announced its new Ultra Sleek Vortex 12 System fan that moves air with a total of 17 blades.
Prolimatech has announced a new system fan -- the Ultra Sleek Vortex 12. This fan is a 120 mm fan that is supposed to offer better performance than traditional 15 mm thick fans.
The fan features a double ball bearing, a staggering 17 blades, can spin at speeds between 400 and 1300 RPM, and will make no more than 17 dBA of noise. All in all, that's pretty impressive for a slim fan.
There was no word on what the fan would cost, though Prolimatech did announce that the fan would have a lifetime of about 100,000 hours, meaning that it'll keep spinning for over a decade.

Shankovich Awesome! I need this for my Corsair 400R. The H60 radiator doesn't allow normal fans to be installed next to it because of clearance.Reply -

nukemaster Impressive for such a thin fan.Reply
Scythe has had thin fans for years(10mm), but not too much air flow at that speed. -

That's the 140mm version (which fits a 120mm mount). I'm fairly certain the 120mm version is actually new.11847816 said:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835242033&Tpk=Ultra%20Sleek%20Vortex%2012
