The Zalman CNPS3100G consists of a heat sink with a 0.3 mm thick gold coating covering the pure copper core. This allows it to obtain the best cooling scores of all the Zalman coolers we tested (44 degrees), even though, objectively speaking, 44 degrees is not fantastic.
