Even though we've got the most current version of Premiere, the Sony HDR-HC1 camcorder isn't listed among the supported devices. (Though you can find seven-year-old cameras like the Sony DCR-PC100 listed near the top!)
HD video export in Adobe Media Encoder in WMV9 format. Many settings are available to optimize video quality in relation to data. Encoding the video takes a long time, even on high-performance systems.
It's important to select all relevant parameters before encoding.
