Logitech Intros Illuminated Bluetooth Keyboard K810
Logitech has introduced a new mobile keyboard with self-adjusting backlit keys and the ability to pair with three Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
Logitech expanded its keyboard lineup on Monday with the introduction of the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810. The name explains it all: it's a Bluetooth-based illuminated keyboard, and seems to be a direct contender to Microsoft's cool Wedge Mobile keyboard.
Compatible with iOS 4.0 or later, Android 3.0 or later, and even the upcoming Windows 8 and Windows RT, this mobile peripheral contains a battery that can be recharged via USB. Logitech said it's capable of providing tens days of performance on a full charge – based on varying user and computing conditions, that is.
"Thanks to the easy-to-use USB cable, you can even use your keyboard while it’s recharging," Logitech said. "The keyboard also features a convenient On/Off switch, and its battery-indicator light helps you manage power so you know when it’s time to recharge."
Battery length will also depend on the amount of back-lighting this keyboard will provide. The illumination auto-adjusts so that the laser-etched Incurve keys can always be seen, dimming or brightening when needed, depending on the amount of light in the room. The keyboard also uses proximity detection to turn on the light when the user's hand approaches the device.
Logitech's new K810 keyboard can actually pair with up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously. A designated button allows the user to quickly switch between a paired PC, and a HID-compliant tablet and smartphone. When paired with a Windows 8 device, it provides specific keys to make navigation easier.
"Its Windows 8 Start key provides a quick and easy way to get back to your Start Screen, while the App Switching function (FN) key allows you to quickly switch among your open apps," Logitech said. "Although it was specially designed for Windows 8, this keyboard also works well with Windows 7, iOS and Android operating systems."
The Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in October and November 2012 respectively, for a suggested retail price of $99.99. Logitech talks more about the new keyboard on its blog here.

I love my G930's had them for about 6 months now.
Best PC accessory I've ever purchased.
Build quality is nice, sound very good (for a wireless headset and with a bit of eq tweaking hehe..)
Also had an MX518 that only broke during a huge anger feud with me and TF2. Smashed my heel on it and man did it hurt.. -

Bought Razor Copperhead mouse, left click died after a year. Bought Razer Lachesis, good for a while but has random skipping issues that get worse until the cursor doesn't not work and you have to unplug/replug it.
Bought Razor Lycosa keyboard, good for a while and then random keys would get stuck on and then not work, have to unplug/replug it, new drivers did nothing.
Bought Logitech G105 keyboard to replace it, spilt hot chocolate on it, cleaned it, still works perfectly. Razor mouse is next to go....
