Cloud Imperium Holding Star Citizen Ship Design Contest

Cloud Imperium is, in the true spirit of crowdfunding and crowdsourcing, launching a contest that allows the community to pitch in their ideas for Star Citizen's next spaceship. 

The spaceship MMO, which began its crowdfunding journey via Kickstarter a few months ago, continues to raise money via its official website. At the time of this article, the game has raised over $21 million. 

Those deciding to compete need only to submit their designs via the Cloud Imperium site. Registration will be open from October 31, 2013 to December 31, 2013, when the contest ends. 

Winners will receive $30,000 along with the bragging rights of having their spaceship design be the one included in the game.
