Kingston Shipping HyperX T1 Series Memory
Kingston Technology brings us another line of enthusiast based memory with its new T1 heat spreaders and HTX technology. HTX technology is a new innovation design by Kingston’s engineering team dedicated to building enthusiast memory.
The new taller heat spreaders utilize HyperX Thermal Xchange (HTX) technology to aid in diffusing the heat that accumulates when the modules are overclocked – dissipating more heat quickly allows for much more stable performance in the most demanding situations.
Quoting Dara Sun, product manager for Kingston:
“The HyperX T1 Series heatspreaders are made of heavy-duty extruded aluminum with extended fins and HTX technology for maximum thermal conditions when users take their systems to the extreme. Any gamer or overclocker who intends to dominate with memory will want to use Kingston’s T1 series, which is a great complement to our existing line of HyperX modules with the lower profile heatsink.”
The new HyperX T1 modules are available in both DDR3 and DDR2 flavors. The DDR3 aimed specifically at the new Core i7 triple-channel memory configurations, while the DDR2 flavor caters to current enthusiast systems and older as well. All modules are of course covered by Kingston’s lifetime warranty plan and free 24/7 technical support.

Shadow703793 Meh... apart from Core i7 there really isn't any need for RAM at DDR2 1066. Usually most manufactures just factory OC their DDR2 800 to DDR2 1066.Reply
