The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are kind of old news at this point. We've even had another Apple event since they came out! However, because Apple doesn't launch worldwide on the same date, a lot of markets have spent the last month waiting for the iPhone 5S and 5C to arrive. Today, Apple announced the launch of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in a further 25 countries.
On top of the 11 countries already selling the new iPhones, Apple said earlier this week that a further 25 would be getting the phone on Friday, October 25. The new models of iPhone are now available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.
If your country still hasn't gotten the iPhone and isn't among those listed above, you'll be glad to know that the roll out continues next week. Apple said that Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UAE will get the phones next Friday, November 1.
The iPhone 5S and 5C launched in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK in September. The iPhone 5C runs on Apple's A6 SoC and features a 4-inch retina display, integrated touch, full sRGB, an 8-megapixel iSight camera, a new Facetime HD camera with improved low-light functionality, dual-band WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, more LTE bands, and is available in pink, yellow, green, blue and white. The iPhone 5S packs Apple's new A7 SoC and is the world's first 64-bit phone. It also features fingerprint authentication in the form of Touch ID, as well as an improved camera.
