...then the target drive. PowerQuest's labeling of the source and target drive make mixing up the two drives unlikely. As you can tell from the difference in capacities, we used two different drives from IBM's IC35 series for our test.
If the destination drive is too small / ... had been too small, (depends on what the picture shows - please choose applicable version - BEN!) an error message is displayed.
Choices, choices! Before the copying process begins, many options have to be selected: error correction, re-sizing the target partition to minimize wasted space on the drive (good idea), status of the partition (active or inactive), etc.
The copying process doesn't even take long. 12 minutes for 16 GB are fine.
