Is The Celeron M An Alternative?

The Celeron M and the Pentium M share the same architecture. However, the Celeron M supports neither Intel's SpeedStep nor the Deeper Sleep State. Thus, it actually consumes considerably more energy when idle. As a result, while the processor and the notebook may be cheaper than a model equipped with a Pentium M, the battery time will definitely be shorter.
