China LCD makers eyeing 19" widescreen panel market
Next newsChina-based BOE Optoelectronics Technology (BOE OT) and Info Vision Optronics (IVO) are eyeing the 19" widescreen panel market, with IVO already starting shipping 19" widescreen panels in September, according to sources. However, Taiwan-based panel makers expect a limited impact on the short-term supply and demand balance for the segment since the initial amount of output from China-based panel makers will not be significant.
