By - Source: Spire | B 3 comments

A Dutch manufacturer, Spire, has released a new enclosure, the X2 6018.

The Spire X2 6018 enclosure is one from Spire's MOD series. It is a standard ATX enclosure so it will fit most motherboards ATX sized and smaller. Some key features include an integrated fan controller, a top mounted power button for easy access, an acrylic side window, folded edge metal to prevent cuts when building and it is built with 0.6 mm SECC steel.

The case measures 508 mm by 194 mm by 469 mm and weighs in at 6.6 kg.

Drive bays include four 5.25" drive bays, a single 3.5" visible drive bay and another four 3.5" drive bays internally, hidden. The case has room for up to seven expansion slots. Graphics cards can be up to 290 mm long.

Regarding cooling the enclosure also comes readily equipped with two fans. A black rear 120 mm fan, and a front blue LED 120 mm fan. There is room for another two 120 mm fans in the top of the case, creating the possibility to mount plenty of water cooling radiators.

Front panel connectors include a single USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports and a microphone and headphone jack.

I fail to see what, if anything at all, is special about this case? it looks just like any other discount gamer case
