Taiwan panel makers expect prices to decline less sharply in 2007 than in 2006, with average prices falling 20-25% for the year, and they also expect prices to decrease in a slightly slower pace in February than in January, according to sources with first-tier panel makers. The relatively milder declines in prices this year will be the result of panel makers' decision to start cutting output toward the end of last year, the sources added.
