Sharp And Sony Sign Memorandum Of Intent To Create Joint Venture For Large-size LCD Panels And Modul
Sharp and Sony have announced the signing of a non-binding memorandum of intent to establish a joint venture to produce and sell large-size LCD panels and modules. Under the proposed plan, a 10G Sharp LCD panel plant currently under construction in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan will be spit-off to the venture.
