The Sims 4 Delayed to Fall 2014

Today, EA announced that The Sims 4, originally slated for an early release in 2014, has now been delayed to a release date in the fall.

After the disastrous experience the publisher had with the launch of the online-always SimCity, which resulted in gamers boycotting the purchase of the game due to connection issues, EA wisely opted to have The Sims 4 single player be an offline experience.

EA's also promised with The Sims 4 that there would be a new "SmartSim" feature, which is meant to streamline house building, compared to previous iterations of the game.

In any case, EA also announced earlier today that Respawn's Titanfall game was going to launch in March 2014.
