In the sRGB color space, the colorimetrics of the LaCie LCD are as good as those of the company's top-range CRT. So this monitor will suit those who use a color temperature of 6500 K with a gamma of 2.2. The same does not apply to the other workspace at 5000 K:
The 5000-K curve is not nearly as good as the other.
