Is Meshy free?
Meshy does have a free tier, but you'll be limited to basic AI features, low queue priority., up to 1 task at a time, and 100 credits a month. All your output will also be subject to a CC BY 4.0 attribution license, meaning you'll need to credit Meshy for copyright reasons.
The free tier is generally recommended for getting started, as the higher credit limits and additional functionality you'll usually need for regular use are reserved for the higher, paid tiers.
How do Meshy credits work?
Each task you ask Meshy AI to performs requires credits. Customers get a set number of credits each month depending on the tier of plan they're on. For example, the free tier only includes 100 credits each month, whilst Pro plans offer 1000.
How far your credits go depends on the tasks you want completed. For example, generating a model usually costs around 20 credits, whilst adding textures can cost another 10 credits, meaning a complete model-and-texture generation process typically costs around 30 credits.
Should you run out monthly credits, you can also purchase additional credits through the store. Unlike your monthly allowance, these are permanent, and are only used when you run out our your arranged amount. Pricing is based on the task you want to buy credits for.
What plans does Meshy AI offer?
There are six tiers of Meshy to choose from all in all, but four for individuals - the free tier, then three paid plans: Pro, Premium or Ultra.
Pro is the cheapest and costs $20 paid monthly (or $16 per month for a year). It gives you 1000 credits a month, 4 free retries per task, access to a library of animation presets, and the ability to run up to 10 tasks at a time. Finally, Ultra comes in at $100 a month (or $80 a month if you sign up for 12 months), and gives you 8,000 monthly credits, 40 free retries per task, 12 free Creative Lab designs each day, and the highest speeds and queue priority the service has to offer.
What about multi-user plans?
If you're looking for a multi-user Meshy plan, you'll need to choose between Studio and Enterprise. Both plans include centralized billing and user management, as well as the highest queue priority for tasks to help streamline your team's operations.
Of the two, only Studio is offered on set pricing, however. It'll cost you $60 a month, plus $10 extra a month for every additional user (or "seat") you add to the plan.
