Images of a mysterious Sony Xperia smartphone, codenamed "HuaShan," have been leaked ahead of February's Mobile World Congress. The photos were published on the USP-Forum.de message boards from an anonymous source. One of the images shows the device's "About" screen, which details a model number of C5303 and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
The Sony C5303 is part of the rumored C530X series, which includes the C5302 and C5306. The C5303 HuaShan smartphone, meanwhile, is said to be the slate's LTE model.
The HuaShan sports the same side power button seen on the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia Tablet Z, accompanied by a strip on the bottom bezel on both the front and back.
Xperia Blog claims the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T chipset with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and an Adreno 320 GPU. Elsewhere, the Sony C530X series of devices will apparently feature 720p displays. Expect these smartphones to be announced during the Mobile World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona from February 25 to 28.
