ioManager
Fusion-io’s ioManager is the central tool for managing ioXtreme drives. The device report provides detailed status information.
When choosing a low-level format, you will get this options window on ioXtreme Pro drives. It allows you to select a performance option, which in turn influences capacity. Improved write performance will decrease the net capacity by 30 percent. Maximum write performance cuts off 50% of the capacity but has a very positive effect on speed. You’ll find details in the benchmark section of this article.
At maximum write performance, we receive only 40GB net capacity.
