In order to provide additional IDE connections, Gigabyte deploys the ITE 8212F, which runs with GigaRaid BIOS V1.41. This makes RAID 0, 1 and 0+1 available.
For a LAN connection, Gigabyte uses a controller made by Broadcom that hooks up via PCI-Express x1 port.
