SBM 4: Overclocking The Competitors
Low-Cost Overclocking - 3D Games
Our overclocked CPU and video card provide a huge performance increase, averaging out to about 25% across the board. You can see that when AA is turned off, the bottleneck is moved to the CPU, which is much faster than stock and provides huge gains. The larger gains are seen below the 1920x1200 resolution, where things start to drop off a bit.
Our overclocking gains aren't quite as high as they were in Doom3, with an average 18% performance increase over stock.
Oblivion looks very similar to FEAR, with a 20% average performance gain.
