Lenovo P770 May Boast Best Smartphone Battery Life

The Motorola Razr Maxx currently features industry-leading battery

According to an image leak of the device, Lenovo's P770 handset is said to boast the best battery life found in smartphones. Leaked photos of the P770 surfaced by the way of GizChina, which shows the handset packing a 3500mAh battery.

While it's still too early to divulge into how long the 3500mAh battery will keep the Lenovo P770 going, multi-day usage is certainly a possibility. Currently, the Motorola Razr Maxx features the industry-leading smartphone juice box, with a battery of 3300mAh. However, should the leaked images prove to be real, Lenovo's upcoming phone will take that title.

A few specs of the smartphone was also leaked alongside the images. The Lenovo P770 will purportedly have a 4.5-inch qHD display, a dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an 8 megapixel rear camera. Its operating system is said to be Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

    I always buy extended batteries for all of my phones as soon as they become available. 3500 mah should be the standard MINIMUM.

  • Since when does biggest battery equal best battery life? It's not how much capacity that matters - it's how a device uses that energy (read: efficiency).

    Why release a premium Android device with only 1GB of RAM instead of 2 or 4GB? Have these manufacturers learned nothing from Samsung and their SGS3?

    I have a hand-me-down 11-years old Nokia Cingular phone that still has 1-3 weeks of battery life under moderate/light usage...

    And the battery hasn't been replaced for years, if ever.

    Isn't the standard voltage 3.7V? If it is, the 4.35V will also add to that since 3500 mah are not the same at 3.7 and 4.35V.

    You might as well as carry a tablet with the weight you're carrying around.

    My Samsung Omnia 7 comes with a pathetic 1500mAh battery. There are options to upgrade it to 1800 which is pretty pathetic also. I could get the 3600mAh version, but you need a special case extended and you might as well be carrying a brick.
