Stealth.com Announces Fanless LPC-700F Mini-PC
Stealth.com has announced a new fanless industrial mini-PC, the LPC-700F.
Stealth.com has introduced a new Mini-PC, one that is fanless and will feature an Intel Core i7 CPU. The PC is primarily aimed at industrial applications, as can be seen by its robust build as well as the I/O connectivity options. The unit will be called the "LPC-700F."
The LPC-700F ships standard with the Intel Core i7-3610QE CPU, which might be a mobile part but is still quite powerful. It also features a standard 128 GB SSD as well as 4 GB of DDR3 SODIMM memory, both of which are upgradeable.
Connectivity is handled by two audio ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI, DVI and VGA ports, as well as a stunning six COM ports. The unit features an external power supply.
"Our new Stealth Model: LPC-700F is the most powerful and technologically advanced fanless PC we have introduced to date. Our full featured machine features built in PCI or PCIe expansion card slots for applications requiring additional expansion capability. Stealth's LPC-700F is a powerful diminutive computer that operates without noisy cooling fans that could draw in dirt and dust potentially causing catastrophic failures. Stealth's fanless computers are encapsulated in a rugged extruded aluminum chassis performing as a heat sink to dissipate heat build-up," said Ed Boutilier, CEO of Stealth.com Inc.
The LPC-700F fanless industrial computer is already available at Stealth.com at a starting price of $1,995.00.

This is an impressive PC considering it's not just fanless, but completely enclosed and fairly small. -
WithoutWeakness Everyone besides @vestibule apparently has no idea what this is for. Industrial PC's are designed to be put in areas where the PC will likely need to be on and running 24/7 in an environment where they may not be easily accessed in the event of overheating or component failure. These may be put in manufacturing plants, server rooms, or one of many other locations where a dead fan causing CPU overheating or a disk error causing instability/crashes could cause major issues and time/money losses for the business operating them. These aren't built to be put on a desk next to you or be used as PC's in an office. They have specific use cases and are built to a higher standard than typical tower PC's.Reply -

Fanless Compact cases exist. and mini-itx motherboards with DC input exist ~$150 , and it is not a big deal Passive cooling a 45 watts i7 CPU (~$280)..
$2000 ? no thank you.
even $1000 is too much for this .
and their case ? you can find it in china easy for $100 only

mushibu09 It'll only work in Colder Climates or as a once a week turn on PC but other than that it will over heat with the most simplest of task on my C2D just browsing folders Temps increase by 1.4C just imagine how much it will increase playing an online game on facebook! not worth it! oh maybe as a HTPC ??Reply -

This is a 45 Watts CPU , it will not over heat .. -
