Stimpack Yeah I'm going to pay $200 for an overclocked 650 Ti when I could afford to buy a GTX 660 at that price. That's smart.Reply -

650 Ti Boost is not an overclocked 650 Ti. They are both cut down versions of GTX 660, and the former one is not that different from the full 660. -

I'd say it's more in competition with the 7850, if anything, and the price of that could hopefully drop soon. I just don't know why you would buy a cut-down version of something that's overclocked to match the original when the original would wind of costing the same. I mean you can buy an EVGA GTX 660 SC right now for $199 with a $10 rebate on top.

That's worth paying for.Reply -

You've missed the point entirely if you think I'm talking about comparing the 650 Ti to the 650 Ti Boost. Thanks for down-voting my comments, though. -

Memnarchon Wait a minute. I thought they said that MSRP for the 2GB will be $169 and for the 1GB $149. Why is the reference 650ti boost 2GB on the list with MSRP $149??? Did I miss something since Tom's Hardware review?Reply -

It's a 660 you noob. They call it 650 and not 660 for people like you who are bored to death to read the specs. Because if they had called it 660 at this price level, who would go out and bought a 650 ti? -
hetneo I think there's an error here, table says that reference 2GB model is suggested price of $150, that would be 1GB model. 2GB model MSRP is $170. Oh and how comes that out of 19 models not a single one is 1GB?Reply -
yannigr That's correct about the pricing. THERE IS an error in the article. Prices are $149.99 for 1GB and $169.99 for 2GB.Reply
I guess they are holding back the 1GB version so that they can give a little extra time to 650 ti (non boost), to sell.
