SilverStone Shows Off Tiny SG13 Mini-ITX Enclosure
SilverStone's new SG13 Mini-ITX Enclosure is tiny.
Editor's Note: While Computex took place last week and all of the news announcements are behind us, we're still sorting through hundreds of in-person meetings and demonstrations, picking out just a few more of the most interesting items we saw up close.
SilverStone revealed a number of new products at Computex 2014, among them a new Mini-ITX enclosure. The case is known as the SG13, and it will work well for building a compact gaming rig.
The case measures 222 x 181 x 285 mm, and has an internal capacity of 11.5 liters. Inside, users can mount a Mini-ITX motherboard along with an ATX PSU, compact cooling or water cooling, and a single 120 or 140 mm fan. There is also room for a single 3.5" drive and a single 2.5" drive. Space for graphics cards is limited, although most all Mini-ITX oriented cards should fit easily.
The SilverStone spokesperson informed us that the case was expected to cost between $30 and $40 when it comes out, which should be soon.

2Be_or_Not2Be I wish all cases had a 12oz Coca-cola aluminum can next to it for perspective on the size of the case. These 3/4 views are hard to determine how big it might be.Reply
For instance, is it bigger than the SG05? It looks the same, albeit minus the slot for a slimline DVD/CD. -

airanp While this may be smaller than a full atx case, it is by no means tiny. 11.5 liters is actually pretty big. Now something < 5 liters would be something worthy of the definition "tiny"Reply
