Seagate Barracuda ATA 7200.7 120 GB: The Classic Model
In addition to its SATA version, Seagate's Barracuda ATA 7200.7 also served the UltraATA market. This model was a hair slower than its SATA rendition, but that difference was barely noticeable (if at all). The Barracuda 7200.7 Plus was available with both 2 MB and 8 MB of on-board cache, and capacities of up to 200 GB. Compared to SATA versions, its access times were more leisurely, and its data transfer rates can only be characterized as so-so by today's standards.
