Although the cathode ray tube (CRT) segment is facing increasing competition from flat-panel and alternative rear-projection technologies, supply for 17- inch CRT monitors and 21" CRT TVs are now running behind demand, according to market sources.
The 21" CRT TV segment is the mainstream CRT TV segment, the sources added.
