Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. might not be the most compelling title out there, but it sure is beautiful to look at and makes for a good flight simulator benchmark. Even at the lowest possible DirectX 9 settings, the game is still astonishingly lush.
We're seeing a familiar CPU ceiling again, with the only good news being that all of the new cards are quite playable. Even the AGP Radeon X700 puts in a respectable showing, which is impressive considering this is a modern game.
When we increase the visual settings, our CPU bottleneck reduces performance even further.
