Acer's Got a London 2012 Edition Iconia A510 Tablet

Samsung has been pushing its Galaxy SIII smartphone as an official London 2012 Olympic device but it's not the only company eager to commemorate the Summer Games with a specially-branded device. Acer is this week launching its own Olmypic version of the A510 tablet in the United Kingdom.

Inside the tablet is the same Iconia A510 we saw at CES earlier this year. It boasts a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, Nvidia's Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 5-megapixel camera, a 720p camera on the front, and Ice Cream Sandwich. The Olympic version of this tablet will sport the Olympics logo on the rear of the case and will allow you to watch the games for free. Similar to the Galaxy SIII, this free access comes via the Eurosport Player, which if offering free coverage of the games until 13 August.

Available now from Carphone Warehouse, you can expect to fork out £349 for this 10-inch beauty. According to Pocket-Lint, if you order between now and June 29 you'll also be entered into a draw for an Acer K330 Projector worth £480.
