Micron lays out 2005 projections for CMOS image sensors
Farhad Rostamian, the strategic marketing director of Micron Technology, explained to DigiTimes in a recent interview how he believes that more applications are going to help boost demand for CMOS image sensors over the next three to four years. Rostamian said that the applications have already expanded from digital cameras, camera-equipped mobile phones and digital camcorders to car-use and medical devices.
