Tyan unveils nForce Pro mobos
Tyan today launched a pair of motherboards based on Nvidia's recently announced PCI Express-based nForce Pro 2200 and 2050 chipsets, both geared to workstation and server systems based on AMD's 64-bit processors.
The workstation-oriented Tyan Thunder K8WE (S2985) family will ship in both 2050 and 2200-based versions, targeting dual Athlon 64/64-FX and Opteron CPUs, respectively. The boards provide two PCI Express x16 slots ready for SLI-configured graphics cards.
