Canadian Residents: Win a Nexus 5 from Virgin Mobile Canada
A special sweepstakes for those in the Great White North to win a Google Nexus 5.
LAST DAY TO ENTER!
Attention fellow Canadian residents: tired of seeing all the sweepstakes on Tom's Hardware that caters only to those in the United States? (except Rhode Island, sorry.) We finally have something for you to win!
Thanks to Virgin Mobile Canada, we're offering the chance for all Canadian residents to win a brand new Nexus 5 Android smartphone.
For the very few of you unaware, the Nexus 5 is Google's latest and greatest smartphone to date, made in partnership with LG. It features a top-end Snapdragon 800 SoC, a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 LCD display, 8 MP camera, and 2 GB RAM.
What sets the Nexus 5 apart from other phones with similar specifications is its official software support from Google, meaning that it will be the first device to receive updates to the latest versions of Android. While many other Android devices are still awaiting an update to 4.3 Jelly Bean, the Nexus 5 ships with 4.4 KitKat.
The variant being offered by Virgin Mobile Canada is the 16 GB model in matte black, which has a very nice soft touch feel.
All you have to do to qualify to win the Nexus 5 from Virgin Mobile Canada is be a Canadian resident and be at the age of majority in your province. If you meet those requirements, then hit the entry form here.
Contest closes on December 12, 2013 11:59 PM EST. Good luck!

AndrewJacksonZA Hi Marcus and Tom's. Thank you sooooo much for this! The optimist in me can hardly wait until you have competitions that are international, including places like the UK and South Africa! ;-)Reply -
razor512 Can it work for us in NY, last I heard, NY is becoming part of Canada for the duration of the sweepstakes :)Reply -
schultzter Whoa there, I think you forgot to exclude residents of Quebec because that's normally a requirement of any contest open to Canadians! The only tangible result of Quebec's drive towards independence has been our exclusion from sweepstakes!!! #sarcasmReply -

We reject you, and still resent you for sending all those Canaidan pennies south of the border! -

Ya I read this also, they may just want to record your reaction for promotional reasons, radio adds etc... However its worded in such way that it could be used in far more sinister ways.
