Apple's Mighty Mouse now without tail

Apple today introduced a wireless version of its Mighty Mouse. Sporting the same overall look and providing the essentially same functionality as the original Mighty Mouse, the updated model offers a reliable, secure connection to Mac computers.

Apple uses Bluetooth to establish wireless connectivity between mouse and computer and announced that it has upgraded the resolution capability of the device: Equipped with a "new laser tracking", the mouse is described to be "20 times more sensitive than standard optical mice" to enable "better tracking on even more surfaces," Apple said. The wireless Mighty Mouse is priced at $70 and is available now.
