Civilization VI (DX12)
Civilization VI’s built-in graphics benchmark runs as quickly as possible, so comparing graphics engines with very different performance is difficult using a timed run. Instead, we utilized the AI-based test. The Radeons all handle it similarly, while Intel’s HD Graphics 530 is quite a bit slower.
As a result of this benchmark’s emphasis, we don’t learn much about the relationship between various AMD GPUs. We do, however, establish that they’re all ~140% faster than Intel integrated graphics. Throwing a discrete GPU into your entry-level gaming system is a good way to improve the experience of mainstream titles like Civilization.
