CPU Load: DVD Playback
VIA EPIA / Eden 1500
Right from the first benchmark test, the Eden on board was unable to keep up. It is not possible to play DVD video smoothly without additional hardware.
VIA EPIA / C3
The same applies to the EPIA with its 800 MHz C3 CPU. CPU usage is high, as there is no video hardware available to help out.
VIA EPIA-M 9000
CPU usage on the M9000 DDR board was between 60% to 80%. We were able to play Terminator 2 smoothly.
