Desktop Logitech LX: Comfort and Style

LX 500 / LX 501 Cordless Desktop

This middle-range keyboard/mouse combination comprises the Click! Cordless ambidextrous mouse, and an LX keyboard with numerous function keys. The mouse and keyboard have a very elegant shape, but the finishes and colors may not seem as appealing to some. Subjectively, I find the blue and white color of the LX 501 attractive and distinguished, as long as you don't look at the materials of the additional keys and the shell too closely; they make the devices seem less refined.

I like the color of the dark blue version (LX 500) less, but the finish here is more pleasing. The devices are linked to the computer by a single, discreet translucent receiver connected to a USB port.
