The following charts represent all PCMark Vantage results normalized to Deskstar E7K500 performance.
Applications load up to 35% faster. The result returns megabytes per second, hence you should not directly apply this to load times.
Game performance increases significantly.
Video editing depends on high throughput performance and speeds up quite a bit with the 7K2000.
Windows Defender and MediaCenter (addition of files) both speed up considerably, which we found hard to reproduce on the test systems.
Picture import benefits from the doubled throughput become obvious here.
The overall score still says that the upgraded system delivers 34% better performance.
