Enthusiast PC gaming component manufacturer Fractal Design has announced the launch of their latest line of "Core" cases. The line, dubbed X3, is built for increased cooling with enhanced airflow and the promise that it is liquid cooling ready.
One of the more noticeable alterations is the vertical hard drive bay, intended to let the heat from drives rise up and out of the way instead of sitting around, keeping your disks warmer than you'd probably like. That bracket can be removed, however, and replaced with radiators for liquid cooling.
The X3 line has four models aimed at different sections of the enthusiast market, ranging from modest mid-tower cases to wide-body monsters with support for multiple radiators.
We popped along to Fractal's booth at Computex to check these babies out so stay tuned for our eyes-on!
