Intel's new Rocket Lake processors are Team Blue's big answer to AMD’s Ryzen 5000 chips and, as you can read in our Intel Core i9-11900K and i5-11600K review, we're fans of the improvements Intel has been able to make while keeping the chips at pretty competitive prices.

Alongside improved performance (at least in applications that aren't heavily threaded), Rocket Lake also includes PCIe 4.0 interface adoption, AVX-512 support and a claimed 50% increase in Xe-powered integrated graphics performance.

And the first chips in the line are available to buy right now, with stock available from most retailers (a very different story to the desert of AMD availability).

If you're convinced, we've set up this page to collect all the different places where you can buy a Rocket Lake processor.

Pre-order pricing was all over the place, but now that this chip is out in the wild, retailers have fallen in line. Cost is consistent at $269 across the board.

Looking for something a little on the cheaper side? B&H have just started taking pre-orders on the i5-11400F CPU too, at just $167.95.

Intel Core i7-11700K: Where to Buy

Launch day has brought consistency across retailers, with pricing now between $418 and $420. Micro Center, after being the most expensive, has surprisingly undercut them all at $399.

Also, if you don’t necessarily need an unlocked processor, you can get the standard 11700 from Newegg or Best Buy.

It's getting hard to find i9 stock anywhere, and that is reflected by how far prices are being increased!

Right now, Newegg is showing the i9 in stock, but at a far more expensive price of $795.

Just about anywhere as currently supply exceeds demand. That’s either a whole lot of supply or a rare exceptionally low demand.

Granted I can walk into Microcenter and buy basically anything under a a 5900X 5000 series AMD chip now if I wanted. Honestly if I was going Intel a 10850K is a hell of a better option than an 11 series.

If someone could tell me where I can buy an 11900k online in Canada, that would be great. All sold out.

Same reasons as all the other people buying them I guess. I can’t find any unless I drive to a store 2 hours away.

11900k is having stock issues in USA too by the looks. If you really want rocket lake for some reason, just get an 11700k which IS in stock and is the same exact cpu with a different name
